Launch the free PasswdFinder application and it will analyze your PC, will collect all the passwords stored by web browsers, email clients, and other applications, and will display all the passwords it finds on its interface. That is, in a nutshell, the functionality you can expect to get from PasswdFinder. So if you forget or lose a password, PasswdFinder will help you get it back.

There is nothing complicated about installing PasswdFinder on a Windows PC. It is, as a matter of fact, a standard installation procedure: download an installer, run the downloaded installer, click through the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. The whole thing will be over in a blink.

The main panel on PasswdFinder’s interface presents all the passwords it uncovers. Said passwords are grouped into several categories: Mozilla Firefox, Outlook, Windows Credentials, and so on. They’re grouped into categories because PasswdFinder can pull passwords from several types of applications: web browsers, email clients, FTP clients, instant messaging applications, and other software. A detailed list of all the applications PasswdFinder supports is available here.

Above the main panel on PasswdFinder’s interface there’s a toolbar with buttons for the following functions: export to HTML; print preview; refresh list; find passwords; options; about PasswdFinder; exit application.

As mentioned at the start of this article, PasswdFinder is free software. You don’t have to part with your hard earned money to enjoy the functionality this application has to offer.

Launch PasswdFinder and it will display all sorts of passwords on its interface. Go over the list, find the password you want, print out the list of passwords.

Pros

There is nothing complicated about installing PasswdFinder on a Windows PC. The main panel on PasswdFinder’s interface presents all the passwords it uncovers. PasswdFinder can pull passwords from a variety of applications. There’s a handy search function that allows you to find the password you’re looking for. The list of passwords can be exported and printed. PasswdFinder is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of. Tip If you don’t want to lose passwords, you should use a password manager.
